Brookside Communities is a real estate investment and property management company focused on owning and operating manufactured housing communities in the US Midwest and Southeast. The Company’s portfolio includes 9 properties with over 1,100 lots in Kansas, Colorado, Missouri, and Arkansas. Brookside has a large growth pipeline and is rapidly scaling its business with both high net worth and institutional capital partners.

Oak Cap Holdings is a vertically integrated real estate investment, development, and management platform focused on essential retail net lease properties. The Company invests in high quality properties within the necessity-based retail sector through the acquisition, development, and financing of properties leased to creditworthy tenants.

Kenny Moon
CO-FOUNDER
Prior to founding Sagebrook Capital Partners, Mr. Moon was a Managing Director at Madison International Realty, a $7.5 billion AUM real estate private equity firm based in New York, where he was a member of the Investment Committee and Senior Management Committee and led Madison’s real estate operating platform investment activities in the US and Europe. Prior to joining Madison, Mr. Moon spent over twelve years at Neuberger Berman’s Almanac Realty Investors, where he was a Managing Director and a member of the Management Committee responsible for investment, origination, analysis, underwriting, structuring, transaction execution, and ongoing management of the investments of the Almanac Realty Securities Fund series. While there, Mr. Moon was involved in transactions totaling over $1.4 billion of invested capital into 10 real estate operating platforms across various property types. Mr. Moon currently serves on the boards of REI Nation and Oak Cap Holdings, and previously served on the boards of HRIP Holdings and PREP Property Group. Mr. Moon started his career at ING Clarion Partners and at Citigroup. Mr. Moon received a B.S. in Business Administration from University of California, Berkeley.

matthew wolpert, cfa
CO-FOUNDER
Prior to founding Sagebrook Capital Partners, Mr. Wolpert was a Managing Director at Almanac Neuberger Berman, served as the Head of Almanac’s real estate public securities investment platform, and was a member of Almanac’s Management Committee. Mr. Wolpert established and grew Almanac’s public investment platform since founding it in 2016 and served as the Portfolio Manager of three securities funds including public total return hedged, credit securities, and a late-stage private equity fund. Prior to joining Almanac in 2016, he was a Principal at V3 Capital Management, L.P., a hedge fund focused on value and event-driven investing in real estate securities across the capital structure. He was previously an Analyst at High Rise Capital Management, a $1.5 billion public real estate securities fund, and at two groups at Citigroup: Real Estate Investment Banking and Global Transaction Services. Mr. Wolpert currently serves on the board of Oak Cap Holdings. Mr. Wolpert received a B.S. in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis and is a CFA Charterholder.
